CVP subsidiary Titan-Auxo, LLC is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologists to join our team in providing our nation's veterans with high-quality anesthesiology services for the VA Western New York Healthcare System in Buffalo, NY located at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215-1129.
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive anesthesiology services for a wide range of surgical procedures.Conduct pre-operative evaluations and develop anesthesia plans.Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures.Manage post-operative care and pain management.Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.Participate in on-call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Comply with all VA policies, procedures, and quality standards.Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in departmental meetings.Supervise and teach anesthesiology residents and other trainees, as applicable.Maintain accurate and timely medical records in the VA's electronic health record system. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.Completion of an ACGME-approved residency in Anesthesiology.Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology from the American Board of Anesthesiology.Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state or territory.Current BLS and ACLS certifications.Ability to obtain and maintain VA credentialing and privileging.U.S. citizenship required.Ability to pass a government background investigation.Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a VA medical center or with Veteran populations.Familiarity with VA systems and procedures.Experience with a wide range of surgical specialties and complex cases.Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and patient safety.
Shift
Normal OR Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.On-Call: 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM. 3-5 calls per month expected on a rotating schedule.
