You will join a united, well-organized, and friendly Department of Anesthesiology with solid and engaged leadership, exceptional interpersonal dynamics, high morale, excellent employee satisfaction, and a team approach to problem-solving and emergency response. We practice an expanded Anesthesia Care model, taking a leadership role in navigating the perioperative process, in close friendly collaboration with surgeons and nursing staff. Our Department is equipted with all required modern equipment for the safest practice of Anesthesia, including Video-Laryngoscopy, 2 SonoSite Ultrasound Machines for Vascular Cannulation and Regional Anesthesia, 2 Ambu FOB Systems with disposal scopes used in Thoracic Anesthesia and Difficult Airway management, FloTrack System for intraoperative hemodynamic management, and AccuView vein finding system. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards and to provide its staff with teaching and research opportunities and the chance to work with medical students, residents and fellows very closely.
