Job Description
As an Animal Care Technician, you will be responsible for placing processed bedding, feed, and other related items into assembled, sanitized cages. You will maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, detergent and disinfectant use, and performance tests for the cage washer and autoclave. Additionally, you will perform daily animal health observations and husbandry duties to ensure the quality and health of research animals.

The position is based in an animal research lab focused on oncology. The work requires standing, walking, or moving about campus on a continuous basis and the ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position objects and materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Additionally, you must be able to ascend and descend stairs on a regular basis. This role will provide you with extensive experience in high-volume animal care within a leading research environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00
