Job Description
As an Animal Care Technician, you will perform cleaning and maintenance duties, conduct monthly sanitation of equipment and facilities, and maintain accurate records of animals, supplies, and equipment. You will also provide basic care for research animals used in experimental purposes, including daily observations to check animal health and environment, reporting changes, and maintaining their living conditions.

The position is within several vivarium's on the campus, each with its own team.
The candidate must be a good team player, follow basic SOPs, and learn lab safety.
The role typically involves working with 10-12 others on a first shift opportunity, starting as early as 5 am.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required, as the position is deemed essential personnel.
The campus offers onsite amenities such as a gym and cafeteria.
Future expansion plans include a fully staffed daycare within the next five years.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
