Your Impactful Role:

Ensure a safe and clean environment for our research animals by performing essential maintenance and sanitation tasks within animal housing facilities.Conduct monthly sanitation duties on equipment and living spaces to uphold our high standards.Keep meticulous records of animal health, supplies, and equipment management.Provide compassionate daily care for research animals, observing their health and checking their surroundings.Monitor and report any changes in the animal environment or health to ensure the best care.Participate in changing and cleaning cages, equipment, water bottles, and food supplies.Welcome new animals by efficiently unpacking and housing them upon arrival.Collaborate with a dedicated team and follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to promote safety and efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

A High School Diploma or equivalent technical certification is required.While a minimum of one year of animal care experience is preferred, we welcome entry-level candidates with a passion for animal husbandry.Experience working with mice is a bonus!Strong skills in cleaning, sterilization, and animal husbandry are essential.A team player who is eager to learn and committed to adhering to lab safety protocols.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
