Animal Care Technician - Pharmaceutical Company (Entry Level)

Work Environment:
Fully onsite position in Tarrytown, NY.Onsite amenities include a gym and cafeteria.Engage with a large team while contributing to cutting-edge research in the pharmaceutical sector.Flexible scheduling including potential overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required as this position is essential personnel.Responsibilities:
Perform cleaning and maintenance duties for animal housing facilities.Conduct monthly sanitation of equipment and living spaces.Maintain accurate records for animals, supplies, and equipment.Provide basic care for research animals, including daily health observations and environmental checks.Report any changes in the environment or animal health.Change and clean cages, equipment, water bottles, and food supplies.Unpack and house new animals upon arrival.Collaborate with team members and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for safety.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent technical certificate required.A minimum of one year of experience in animal care is preferred.Experience working with mice is a plus.Strong cleaning, sterilization, and animal husbandry skills.Team player with a commitment to learning and adhering to lab safety protocols.Compensation:
