Summary You will serve as an Animal Caretaker in the Domestic Animal Control Center of Provost Marshal's Office of Marine Corps Camp Pendleton MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON. Responsibilities You will observe feeding habits of animals to record or report deviation of normal procedures to supervisory personnel. You will conduct vehicle patrol of areas to find and obtain stray animals. You will inspect animal caretaking equipment and vehicles daily for damage or loss. You will follow procedures in issuing citations for animal control violations. You will receive animals, equipment, and supplies in accordance from an animal caretaker leader. You will perform routine record keeping procedures for a shelter. You will observe animals' appearance and note any signs of illness. You will handle and restrain hard to control animals. You will answer incoming calls to the shelter. You will maintain cleanliness of shelter.
