Working Hours Sundays & Holidays are mandatory | *8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Hours may vary) Mix schedule including weekends and weekday | Average of 25 hours per week Essential Functions What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities As an Animal Caretaker (Part-Time), you will: + Ensuring cleanliness by maintaining cages, runs, and shelter equipment in compliance with state regulations. + Feeding, watering, and monitoring the health and well-being of shelter animals. + Administering vaccinations, medications, and diagnostic tests as needed. + Assisting with or performing euthanasia when necessary, following shelter protocol. + Transporting animals to veterinarians, events, and other locations. + Handling janitorial and grounds maintenance tasks to keep the shelter in top shape. + Supporting public interactions by assisting with inquiries and processing paperwork. Typical Qualifications What We’re Looking For: + High school diploma or GED equivalent. + Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have held it for at least 2 years + Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
