Vet technicians who are looking to make an impact within oncology research would be a great fit for this role!_ **Schedule** : Mon-Thu 6a-4:30p (weekends and holidays as needed) **Pay:** $18-$24 (depending on experience) **Type of Role:** Contract to perm (6 months) **What’s In It For You?** + Medical and Dental Benefits + Weekly Pay + Additional Great Benefits upon conversion! **Animal Tech Responsibilities:** + Responsible for animal husbandry and euthanasia. + Monitoring, handling, and caring for research animals; including providing feed, water, health checks and cage changes. + Maintain study records and preclinical research activity on each research animal. + Preclinical experiment (injection, bleeding, euthanasia, necropsies) + Animal healthcare, preparation, and follow-up (monitoring, tagging, weighing, and calipering) + Assist with the receipt, stocking, and maintenance of supply inventories. + Clean room facility maintenance and experiment preparation + Handle radioactive materials. **Animal Tech Experience/Education:** + High school diploma with 2-3 years of related work experience.
