Jhpiego works with the Department of Health (DOH) to increase access to optimal cervical cancer early detection technologies through the introduction HPV self-sampling as screening method and thermal ablation for treatment of pre-cancer lesions. This endeavor responds to the World Health Organization’s global strategy to eliminate cervical cancer by 2030 and supports the DOH and country commitments to achieve 70 per cent screening coverage and 90 per cent access to treatment by the year 2030.
Building on footprint of the SUCCESS Project, the Centralized Laboratory Model for HPV DNA Screening (CLAMS) Project aims to support demand generation and awareness activities for cervical cancer preventive services in Metro Manila through direct support for the conduct of health education and promotion activities. This includes reproduction and cascade of information, education and communication (IEC) materials to support delivery of preventive services at the community level.
Jhpiego seeks the services of an individual who can develop a 3 – 5 minutes animated video of instructions for self-collection to support health care providers in effectively instructing patients on the 10 steps for self-collection and increase uptake for HPV self-collection.
Responsibilities Use existing visual assets/illustrations to create 5-minute (max) animated instruction on how to do HPV self-collection;Update visual assets/illustrations as needed depending on guidance of Jhpiego’s technical team;add voice-over, subtitles and scoring to animation;Provide recommended/appropriate video formats for LED screen, social media, powerpoint and web as final output;Work closely with Awareness and Demand Generation Officer to carry out revisions proposed by the CLAMS Project team and Joint Project Implementation Committee’s technical working group on demand generation and communication. Required QualificationsHigher Education in the areas of visual communication, fine arts, film, multimedia design, animation, or a related field;Have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in providing multimedia services to creative agencies, profit, or non-profit sectors with relevant portfolio;Strong understanding of animation, video production and multimedia design principles;Adept at working independently;Have a good grasp content-production for both digital platforms and on-ground activation; Can fulfil deliverable according to timeline Preferred Qualifications
