Annual Giving Coordinator

Summary
Serves as part of a regional Foundation team supporting the advancement of fundraising goals and initiatives to support the work of Parkview Health. Performs a variety of duties and functions related to the execution of an annual development plan which aligns with the Foundation’s mission and strategic priorities.
Responsible for cultivating recurring gifts from a broad base of donors including coworkers, grateful patients, vendors and physicians through various channels like direct mail, email and online giving, aiming to consistently increase the Foundation’s annual fundraising revenue; key duties include identifying potential donors, building relationships, managing a donor portfolio, and implementing stewardship initiatives to retain existing donors.
Provides insight and recommendations for growing the annual giving program, and enhancing the donor relations program, while supporting the strategic plan goals of the Foundation. Responsible for reaching goal metrics pertaining to total dollars raised through annual gifts, consistency of annual giving and handoff of major gift donors to Foundation leadership. Coordinates all donor newsletters, e-blasts, stewardship post cards and contributes to the annual report and other high level marketing pieces. Provides oversight of the Grateful Patient Program, ensuring patient family involvement and the recognition of coworkers, including scheduling of guardian angel pinning’s and social media posts. Collaborates with the Development Coordinator and Foundation leadership on coworker giving, Physician Philanthropy Council & nursing alumni campaigns and activities.
Education
Minimum of Bachelor's degree required.
Licensure/Certification
CFRE preferred.
Experience
Three years minimum experience in resource development including but not limited to annual fund campaign planning and execution, donor cultivation, special events, stewardship and coordinating volunteer development committees. Experience communicating with donors via formal appeal letters, impact reports, social media posts, emails, and other donor communication facets. Experience with Blackbaud donor software or other donor software systems required.

Skills: Other Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power point, Word, Access and Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge); demonstrated analytical and organizational skills; ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks; strong understanding of the need for teamwork and an ability to work with highly confidential information; outstanding work ethic, and demonstrated capacity to organize and move goals forward; familiarity with a healthcare environment and structure; nonprofit management and fundraising strategies desired.
