Annual Giving Manager
Details Department: Foundation Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift, M-F 8am - 5pmHospital: Ascension Saint Thomas West Location: Nashville, TN Lead the annual giving program and serve as a frontline fundraiser, driving all
annual giving fundraising activity for gifts under $25,000 and taking
accountability for annual giving fundraising goals.Develop and implement an annual giving plan designed to elevate current annual
donors and recruit new annual donors each fiscal year.Manage an active portfolio of annual donor prospects and develop identification,
cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies in line with Ascension Saint
Thomas Foundation priorities.Develop and manage digital and direct mail engagement and giving strategies for
annual and mid-level giving donors.

Responsibilities

Grows the fundraising program through the solicitation of gifts and management of an individual
and/or institutional prospect portfolio. Meets fiscal year monetary goals.

 

Develops and implements a formal plan to engage prospects in the Moves Management cycle through
identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.Coordinates with data and research teams to identify prospects. Refines the prospect list throughout the
year based on qualifications.Collaborates with the foundation department leadership and the communications team to develop custom
solicitation materials, grants, impact reports, and donor communications.Implements tracking systems to manage and refine the donor pipeline and engagement throughout the fiscal
year.

 

Complexity of Work:

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal
supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

 


Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s): None Required.

 

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
