Department OverviewThe Motorola Solutions Antenna/EME team is at the forefront of research and standards on wireless device RF safety and compliance. Our staff holds leadership roles in standards development committees (IEC, IEEE, CENELEC) and industry associations (Mobile & Wireless Forum), and has published extensively on topics related to RF dosimetry, densitometry, as well as antenna technologies.
Job Description

We seek a motivated graduate or undergraduate student to start forming the next generation of Motorola Solutions experts in the mentioned fields. This internship will provide opportunities to develop expertise in theoretical, computational, and experimental dosimetry, product compliance testing, and antenna design and characterization. 

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in theoretical, computational, and experimental dosimetry research.

Support product compliance testing and antenna design/characterization.

Utilize advanced simulation tools and RF instrumentation for analysis and testing.

Collaborate with experienced researchers to solve complex technical challenges.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools and RF measurement techniques.

Curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a strong desire to innovate.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Experience with different coding skills.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or an allied discipline.

Must graduate on or after August 2025.

Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).
