A highly regarded legal team is seeking an associate to join its Antitrust practice in Washington, DC. This role focuses on M&A antitrust matters, including merger reviews and regulatory approvals under U.S. competition laws.

  Position Responsibilities: Advise on merger reviews and antitrust clearances, including compliance with regulatory requirements Represent clients in transactions before U.S. antitrust enforcement agencies Analyze competition law issues and provide strategic counsel on M&A transactions Conduct research on antitrust regulatory developments and enforcement trends   Qualifications: J.D. from a nationally recognized law school with strong academic credentials Knowledge of U.S. antitrust laws and experience handling merger review processes Prior work with or exposure to DOJ Antitrust Division and/or FTC Bureau of Competition is a plus Strong research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic regulatory environment   Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary ($235,000 - $365,000) based on experience and location Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans Generous paid time off, parental leave, and professional development opportunities
