Description We are seeking an AP Accountant to join our clients team located in Mission, Kansas. In this role, the AP Accountant will be responsible for handling various accounting functions, focusing on accounts payable, and utilizing different accounting software systems. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately processing accounts payable transactions. • Utilizing accounting software systems to maintain efficient workflow. • Conducting regular audits to ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately. • Handling account coding duties to ensure financial data is classified correctly. • Employing Automated Clearing House (ACH) for financial transactions. • Resolving inquiries related to accounts payable in a timely and detail oriented manner. • Monitoring and maintaining accurate customer credit records.
