AP Accountant

 Complete month-end close activities, perform account reconciliations, implement various accounting and reporting tasks, prepare reports, and support internal and external audits.


 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Participate in month-end close activities, including sub-ledger close, accrual preparation, reclassifications, and data analysis. Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations. Support internal and external audit requests by providing requested documentation and explanations. Complete Superuser tasks within the Global AP organization, such as testing and participating in projects. Prepare various reports and dashboards, including Global AP Metrics & important metric and cash forecast. Validate financial information for the company's purchase requisitions. Verify and manage bank account information for vendors. Respond to vendor inquiries through a standard ticketing system.

    For This Role, You Will Need: BSC/MSC Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting (an Accounting degree or equivalent experience is an advantage) Qualified Chartered Accountant Certificate is an advantage Excellent communication skills in English Outgoing personality who enjoys working with people Continuous improvement attitude Close attention to detail Commitment to doing a first-class job (e.g., ensuring accuracy and adherence to rules) Proactivity Quick learner Ability to quickly adapt to changes
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Experience in similar financial field is an advantage Experience in multinational environment is an advantage Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records Good PC skills, preferably using Excel; Power BI is an advantage Possess fluent written and verbal communication skills in English Knowledge of another European language is an advantage Working experience in customer service area is preferable
