What is the role about?
The Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Manager ensures accurate and timely processing of payments, manages cash flow, and upholds compliance with financial regulations. They collaborate with internal teams, such as finance, sales, and procurement, as well as external stakeholders like customers and vendors, to maintain strong relationships and operational efficiency. This role drives value by improving cash flow management, enhancing decision-making with financial insights, and mitigating risks through effective controls. This role is critical for maintaining the financial health of the organization and fostering trust with both internal and external stakeholders.
Which tasks will you perform?
Build effective and strong team through internalized leadership principles as well as managing performance of direct reports; set clear performance goals, have frequent performance conversations to review progress on action plans, provide ongoing feedback, conduct thorough performance reviews. Responsible for credit review and analysis of new and existing accounts to determine acceptable levels of risk in selling to customers on open account, including credit limit assignments and works with Sales Team to mitigate the company’s risk. Ensure AP processes are completed accurately and timely, including processing checks and ACH requests, invoices have proper approval, and vendor inquiries are addressed. Negotiation of alternative selling terms/arrangements involving direct contact with customers, representatives, and sales personnel. Management of credit/collection records and files, including automated customer master files and manage Visa/MasterCard/American Express sales system. Provide instruction/training and/or establish procedures for other departments in functional areas of credit/collections, sales tax requirements, and accounts payable.What do we expect from you?
You will have (required):
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field Knowledge of automated credit/business systems and PC applications, preferably in Microsoft Office and SAPYou may have (preferred):
