AP/Payroll Specialist
Job Title: AP/Payroll SpecialistJob Description Analyze, code, and process accounts payable invoices. Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements. Communicate with vendors, purchasing, and receiving to resolve any discrepancies. Audit invoices for proper authorization and back-up. Scan all invoices, checks, check registers, etc. into document management system. Prepare listing of invoices to be paid during the check run. Access bank accounts for wire generation, ACH payments, check uploads, and cash application. Process and apply all accounts receivable payments. Assist in processing payroll (US & Puerto Rico) information including time and attendance detail, check/deposit distribution, and employee record maintenance. Work with HR to accomplish employee record updating to ensure payroll is timely and accurate. Handle escalated employee payroll-related questions and concerns. Prepare and continuously update work instructions. Ensure internal control compliance and provide updates as necessary. Complete special projects assigned by management. Essential Skills + Accounts payable + Invoice processing + Invoice entry + Microsoft Excel + ERP + Invoicing + Accounting + Payroll experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + AP experience + Manufacturing experience + Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree + SAP + AR + Associate’s degree in accounting preferred + 3-5 years related experience in payroll (preferred) and/or accounts payable + Equivalent combination of education and experience Work Environment Hybrid work schedule with 3 days remote and 2 days onsite. Very flexible and relaxed work environment with a casual dress code. Lots of room for growth within a large Accounting team. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.50/hr.
