Job Description

The Brokerage Specialist is responsible for liaising with customers, broker agencies and customs officials and supervising the brokerage agencies or freight forwarders to ensure goods are cleared through customs or quarantine in accordance with import and export laws and regulations. He/She is also expected to work with colleagues and partners outside to accomplish his/her work.

Monitoring status of shipments from port to customers’ warehouses in VietnamResolve issues with LSP for shipments in VietnamImplement standard and established compliance administrative activitiesManage and coordinate with broker agents for country import clearance activities for countries in ASEANWork closely with FT Compliance officer and support in maintenance of HS codes for countries in ASEANCoordinate with country sales office on tariff / costs matters, including settlementCoordinate with origin countries to receive original Certificate of Origin for custom clearance within stipulated timeline.Follow up from customs approval for Certificate of Origin to tax reimbursement.Support internal audit tasks.Check and approval of invoices related to clearance activitiesIdentify opportunities for FTACompilation and updating of reports for FTA cost saving and clearance activities in ASEAN

QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, etcFrom 2 years-experience in Supply Chain, Import-Export or related fields. Open for fresh graduateFluent in EnglishStrong computer/systems skills like Excel, Power Query, Power BI, …Strong analysis and problem-solving skillExcellent communication and inter-personal skills with ability to work with cross-functions.
