Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking an AP Representative I to join their team. As an AP Representative I, you will be part of the accounting department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** AP Representative I
**Location: Houston, TX**
**Pay Range: $22-$23/Hr**
**What's the Job?**
+ Research tax tracker notifications and inquiries
+ Assist with 1099 reporting and inquiries
+ Research and track IRS levies
+ Reconcile accounts, check account assignments, and upload to oxydocs
+ Collaborate on special projects with Supervisor/Coordinator
**What's Needed?**
+ 2-3 years of accounts payable experience or relevant college education
+ Intermediate Excel skills
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Ability to work well with others and handle unpleasant situations tactfully
+ Excellent communication, research, and problem-solving skills
