Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of end-to-end activities of Accounts Payable process and meet/exceed key objectives and service levels. Responsible for adopting a ‘Right First Time’ mentality to the end-to-end processing of Accounts Payable within Reed Exhibitions to both internal and external stakeholders.
Accountabilities:
Prepares, records, verifies, analyzes and reports accounts payable/receivable transactions Pays vendor invoices and receives and posts customer payments on a timely basis Maintains and reconciles accounts payable/receivable ledger accounts, financial statements and reports Prepares analyses and reconciliations of bill runs to detect fraud Ensures that transaction entry verification procedures are followed May prepare and deliver low-volume customer billing and respond to resulting queries Requires specialized skills or is multi-skilled developed through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience Completes work with a limited degree of supervision Requires skilled in a range of processes, procedures and systems to carry out assigned tasks Applies knowledge of how the team integrates with other teams to achieve objectives Provides informal guidance and support to team members Provides solutions to atypical problems based on proven practices or procedures Impacts the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the team; recommends changes to improve efficiency Explains job specific informationRequirements/Qualifications:
