APAC Payroll Sr Manager

What success looks like in this role:

Point of contact when a new business requirement arises affecting the global/regional/local process and handling complex/escalated issues, working cross-functionally

Primary responsibility to ensure that process documentation (desk procedures, training materials, etc.) is current and complete, coordinating updates with Subject Matter Experts

Responsible for internal reporting which satisfies requirements of internal client groups, i.e. GAAP, STAT, Policies

External reporting

Usually manages other managers and/or high level individual contributors and/or 3rd party consultants

Sets and directs action plans

Understands functional concepts and drives for results

Encourages others to consider innovative alternatives and contributes to business strategy

        

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required (advanced degree such as MBA or certification such as CPA or PMP preferred)

A minimum of 10 years of experience in the relevant Finance/Accounting area

Exposure to financial processes and internal accounting controls.

Familiarity with common financial systems and experience in system interaction. (Oracle ERP and associated applications preferred) 

Experience in an ERP/shared service environment required 

Experience working in a global organization required

US GAAP knowledge (required) 

Experience in managing a team of professionals (required)

Effective communication skills expressed through conversation, instructing, written memos, written work instructions and flow charts.  (required)

Strong presentation skills including the ability to successfully represent data and ideas.

Audit experience helpful
