We are looking for an exceptional Regional Information Security Officer to develop and lead a local operational security team in the delivery of FNZ’s cyber resiliency strategy. You will report into the Group Head of Information Security and have significant experience in regulated financial services. You will have good knowledge of a variety of information security frameworks, legal and regulatory requirements, coupled with an ability to communicate risk effectively to stakeholders of all levels.
Success in this role requires experience in navigating complex, fast-paced environments, with the ability to quickly identify areas for improvement and drive positive change. You will partner with stakeholders across the business to strengthen FNZ’s cyber resilience practices.
The responsibilities will include:
Drive the local development, implementation, and support of FNZ’s cyber resilience strategy, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s mission.
Help shape and communicate corporate information security policies, standards, and guidelines.
Oversee local services to meet client and regulatory requirements, including audit preparation, RFP support, and client security committees.
Manage a local team to ensure a consistent global security service that supports business objectives.
Champion a strong security culture across the organisation.
Lead the assessment, analysis, and reporting of cyber security risks to key stakeholders.
What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate?
Extensive experience in Information Security within Financial Services or a highly regulated sector.
Strong expertise in implementing security and risk frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and COBIT.
Solid understanding of auditing standards, including ISAE 3402 and SOC2.
Highly experienced in managing client and regulator relationships.
Experienced in developing excellent supply chain management practices.
Exceptional ability to manage internal stakeholders through a journey of improving information security maturity.
Strong communication skills to convey security and risk concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
Professional Information Security qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC.
Prior experience leading a team of Information Security professionals.
