We are currently seeking a Treasurer!
The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing AMC’s financial activities and managing our liquidity, financial risk, and capital. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures that align with our business objectives and regulatory requirements. You will also lead the Treasury function supporting corporate and property Treasury needs and collaborate with other senior managers, leaders, and external stakeholders. This position is a key component of AMC’s growth strategy, managing, advising, and leading on all elements of Treasury at the company. In addition, this position will be involved in collaborating with the Accounting, Tax, Risk, Legal, and business teams to establish processes and procedures that leverage AMC’s scale to garner favorable banking terms, mitigate risk, maximize efficiency, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the company.
Responsibilities include:
Plan, execute, and monitor the company's cash flow, funding, and capital structure Manage the company's banking relationships, collaborate with Accounting and Finance to manage credit facilities Optimize the company's liquidity and working capital management Identify, measure, and mitigate financial risks, such as interest rate, and counterparty risks Develop and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and controls in compliance with internal and external standards and regulations Prepare and present treasury reports, forecasts, and analysis to executive management and board of directors Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with other departments, such as accounting, tax, legal, risk, human resources, operations, and compliance Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as banks, rating agencies, auditors, and regulators Manage and meet aggressive internal delivery timelines and help adjust priorities in a fast-moving environment Create strategies and lead initiatives focused on improving the efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness of Treasury processes, policies and solutions while keeping an adequate level of control over treasury activities Provide financial analysis, modeling and recommendations for treasury/cash management projects Actively engage in supporting education and training programs designed to elevate understanding and implementation of Treasury best practices throughout the organization to foster a culture of excellence. Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in Treasury and finance. Evaluate and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the AMC’s best practices.Requirements:
Highly disciplined and able to make independent decisions and work with limited supervision while excelling in a fast-paced, dynamic, and demanding environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present sophisticated issues in a clear and persuasive manner. Demonstrated skills in interpersonal communication to establish and build internal and external relationships, manage vendors and service providers, and effectively interact with executives, senior-level management groups, clients, and other team members. Excellent project management skills and evidenced ability to take initiative in the area(s) of focus to develop and execute a project plan from conception through implementation and evaluation. Driven; a quick study with internal drive to make a difference in a high-growth organization – a self-starter that requires minimal direction. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to create and make presentations to team members, executives, senior leaders, and others, and to develop policies, procedures, memos, and other documents used for communicating, training or implementing planned projects and initiatives. A demonstrated verifiable reputation for uncompromising integrity and no history of disciplinary offences as a Treasurer or in any other capacity. Inquisitive, engaged, and proactive in identifying treasury issues and risks and proposing creative and effective solutions with a commercial mindset; ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity simultaneously and translate complex business, finance, legal, and risk issues into clear and simple guidance for a variety of clients and stakeholders. Resourceful, organized, and ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities. Compensation: Full- Time $150,000.00 to $250,000.00 per year
