We are seeking an API Inspector with 570 certification for a full-time position in Plaquemine, LA. This role will perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code. API 570 Inspection and ability to follow and draw isometric drawings. Non-exempt role; Reports to a Level 2 Inspector; Close Supervision assigned duties according to specific procedures \/ work is checked frequently.\n

Essential Qualifications:\n\nMust have valid drivers license\nMust have TWIC card\nMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent\nAPI 570 Certification\nAbility to pass a background check and drug test\nMust possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills\nPost-offer drug\/alcohol screen and physical evaluation\nJob site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)\nSafety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)\nApplicant\/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work place\n\n

Functional Requirements: \n\nAssists in performing duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance with reference code.\nAssist with nondestructive testing equipment set-up.\nAssist in calibrating nondestructive testing equipment.\nAssist in applying testing criteria in accordance with procedures and standards.\nAssist in performing other job-related tasks as assigned by certified inspector\/technician.\nPerform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.\n\n
