APJ GTM Sales Motion Lead, APJ GTM Team
Amazon
Description
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
In APJ, we have envisioned a consistent sales motion to drive cultural and business transformation in the largest, economy-shaping companies. Our Go-to-Market strategy recognizes that an organization's journey to the cloud is first and foremost a cultural transformation that is enabled by technology. As #OneAPJ, we are committed to working backwards from our customers' needs and outcomes to help guide them and, in turn, positively impact their economies, industries, and customers.
The APJ GTM Sales Motion Lead plays a critical role in shaping and executing strategic initiative and programs that deliver the best of our culture, technology, services, and solutions through dedicated and targeted engagements.
The APJ GTM Sales Motion Lead will have responsibility to: 1) implement consistent, integrated #oneteam account planning for all strategic accounts, and build repeatable mechanisms to increase adoption of AWS capabilities; 2) partner with Area and Pan APJ strategic business development and program teams (e.g., Digital Innovation, Pan Amazon, Infrastructure Strategic Collaboration, Executive Visioning, Sustainability, Solutions) to programmatically bring the best of Amazon to our most important customers; 3) collaborate across #oneteam functions to accelerate knowledge transfer and best practice sharing through Communities of Interest and Enablement to build consultative selling and vertical field muscle; 4) leverage insights and analytics to develop new programs that drive growth across customer cohorts; and 5) support key reporting and governance mechanisms for the GTM strategy. Corporate priorities are changing simultaneously to balance macro-economic uncertainty through discretionary spending controls, while concurrently investing in digital transformation initiatives that enable agile, flexible and sustainable business operations with personalized user experiences. Our customers are leveraging cloud services to achieve industry-focused outcomes supported by value driven business cases, sponsored by Line of Business (LOB) leaders, C-Suite, and Corporate Boards. This shift is driving customers to do more with less, prioritizing profitability and top-line growth through differentiation and innovation that reduces the customer’s time to value. As new technologies continue to emerge, we are presented with an opportunity to support our customers as strategic advisors, helping them stay ahead of the curve, capitalize on changing market trends, and reinvest in new workloads.
The right candidate is a builder at heart and will own key aspects of our Industry-first and sales motion aligned GTM across the APJ region. As the APJ GTM Sales Motion Lead, you will support the consistent implementation of repeatable #OneAPJ Sales Motions across customer cohorts to accelerate what we can deliver with partners and #OneAWS teams. You will be responsible for driving specific, repeatable mechanisms that sales team follow to engage with prospects and convert them into customers, from initial contact through to closing a deal.
