**Job Description**
**About the Role:**
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented App Delivery (uOTA) Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, execution, and optimization of a cutting-edge App Delivery (uOTA) platform. This platform enables seamless updates to Android-based infotainment systems, delivering continuous improvements to platform APKs and enhancing the customer experience. As part of a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of the App Delivery (uOTA) channel while learning from and contributing to an innovative automotive ecosystem.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **App Delivery Operations:**
+ Support the end-to-end App Delivery (uOTA) process, ensuring timely and quality updates.
+ Monitor and troubleshoot app deployment pipelines to address and resolve issues promptly.
+ Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve delivery workflows and ensure compliance with standards.
+ **Technical Support and Collaboration:**
+ Work with development teams to validate APK readiness for App Delivery (uOTA).
+ Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on delivery schedules, milestones, and requirements.
+ Assist in decoupling platform APK updates from firmware updates, enabling faster release cycles.
+ **Process Improvement:**
+ Identify opportunities for efficiency in app delivery processes and contribute to implementing improvements.
+ Maintain documentation for workflows, tools, and best practices to support team knowledge-sharing.
+ **Customer Experience Focus:**
+ Ensure that App Delivery (uOTA) updates enhance end-user experiences and meet quality standards.
+ Gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders to refine processes and identify new opportunities.

**Required Qualifications:**
**Hybrid:** This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report onsite at the GM Global Technical Center - Cole Engineering Center Tower, at least three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
+ 2+ years of experience in software development, app delivery, or related fields.
+ Proven experience with app update and software delivery, Android development, or connected vehicle systems.
+ Strong understanding of app deployment pipelines, CI/CD processes, and software quality assurance practices.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
+ experience in collecting logs, analyzing android apps integration
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Familiarity with App Delivery (uOTA) processes, connected vehicle technologies, or Android Automotive OS.
+ Basic scripting or programming knowledge to automate and streamline workflows.
+ Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

**Compensation:** The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington
+ **Compensation:** The expected base compensation for this role is **: $75,000 - $119,000** . Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
+ **Bonus Potential:** An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
