\nConduent’s Enterprise Technology Services Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated individual to support Configuration Management & DevOps team.
\nThe primary responsibility of this role is to conduct build and release management activities in an Azure DevOps environment.
\nReporting to the Software Configuration Manager, the person in this role will support the Transportation department's objective to automate build, integration and deployment activities in the Change and Release Management processes in support of continuous improvement and innovation through automation with CI/CD. Will conduct official SCM software builds for intended release and maintain appropriate status accounting data of all CIs. Will support SCM planning, repository setup and access control. Participates in systems implementation, maintenance, validation and the migration of platforms and applications to production.
\nRequirements / Preferences Section
\nBasic Qualifications for Consideration
\n\n 2+ years of experience performing software Configuration Management or as a Software Developer or as an Application Administrator\n Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications and Linux operating systems required\n Experience using a Version Control tools such as Subversion, Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure Repos to manage baselines, product releases and status accounting logs. \n User Support and User Administration in tools; Including change record changes/add/remove, New user creation in tools, User access removal, User project changes.\n Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interface with project management, software engineers, system admins, test engineers.\n Capability to self-start and drive initiatives engaged with a globally distributed team.\n Ability to complete work self-guided & to work remotely (eg. from home).\n\n\n
Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:
\n\n\n Experience with developing new or maintaining existing build scripts for the execution of software builds.\n Experience with one or more CI/CD and Automation tools: Kubernetes, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Git, SonarQube, Ansible, Puppet, Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Artifacts, Artifactory.\n Experience with one or more scripting languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, Perl, Groovy, Ant, JSON, Angular, NodeJS.\n Experience with one or more CI/CD and Automation tools: Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Git, SonarQube, Artifactory, Ansible, Puppet\n Experience with one or more OS and Platforms: AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, Azure, Windows, VMware\n Experience with one or more DBMS/Data Structures: Oracle, SQL\n Experience with application tools upgrade planning, testing, execution, and roll-back.\n
