APP DEV SENIOR ANALYST (BAND 3)

We are looking for a passionate Trailblazer (aka Salesforce Developer) to join our Technology team supporting the Global Health Benefits Sales business unit in Cigna’s International Markets.

The Salesforce.com App Development Lead Analyst will work on an Agile scrum team and will be responsible for managing assigned work requests throughout the SDLC, building customized solutions using Salesforce declarative tools, custom code, and AppExchange products.  The candidate will require an understanding of business processes related to the CGHB Sales Cloud application as well as strong technical and communication skills to interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs in order to develop and enhance the system accordingly. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, test and deploy Visualforce, Apex, LWC, Java, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisionsContribute to team processes by participating in team activities, such as estimation, collaboration in requirements definition, code reviews, and contribution of feedback during retrospectivesSupport all technical aspects of Salesforce.com, including data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom codeSupport the organization’s utilization of SFDC to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support scaling at a rapid paceSupport the global Salesforce.com team with additional projects as neededMaintain Salesforce certifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

2 years previous development experience with Salesforce.comSalesforce Platform App Builder and Developer 1 Certifications preferredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and APIExperience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggersWorking proficiency in HTML, XML, Flex, JavaScript, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, HTTP/REST and SOAP-based web servicesExperience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, DemandTools, Eclipse Force.com IDE) and other development tools, including InformaticaStrong understanding of relational databasesDemonstrable success with multiple Salesforce.com integration projectsExperience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/asyncExperience with scripted data loader, web services, cloud or on-premise middleware and other enterprise integrating technologiesAbility to work independently, as well as part of a teamStrong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end usersExperience working in an Agile software development environmentStrong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skillsStrong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teamsExperience with Copado DevOps preferred
