ob Description: The Department of Medicine is seeking a physician assistant for the Hospitalist program at Sinai Hospital. The Hospitalist program is a continuous, on-site service with 35 active providers. Our APPs are involved in all aspects of patient management with a significant degree of autonomy including:   Management of 8-9 patients per shift Performing comprehensive medical assessments to be used in diagnosis and treatment of patients. Developing and implementing patient care plans that includes initiating and prescribing medications Performing high-quality clinical practices and effective patient management, under the supervision of a hospitalist physician, in accordance with state regulations. Serving as an advisor, resource, and leader of other members of the patient care team Demonstrating teamwork by communicating effectively and working collaboratively with all members of the patient care team.   Requirements: Active NCCPA certification Maryland CDS license and DEA license Active BLS/ACLS certifications\   #APP
