Job Description:

Critical Care Position

Lahey Hospital and Medical Center Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine seeks highly motivated and committed critical care Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for a busy critical care service. The APP will be part of the multidisciplinary team caring for critically ill patients within the LHMC Burlington, Beverly Hospital and Winchester Hospital ICUs. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Daily roundsManagement of critical illnessesCommon bedside proceduresVentilator managementICU admissionsCritical care consultsBed flow management.

The critical care APP will also be part of the LHMC Medical Emergency Team and respond to all emergencies called within LHMC. Independent critical thinking and patient care management is at the forefront of the APP role. This role will include rotational day, night and weekend responsibilities across the three hospitals. 

Applicants should be motivated, confident, compassionate, and patient-focused. Prior experience and a strong interest in critical care medicine is strongly preferred. Organization, flexibility, adaptability, and strong time management skills are highly desirable.
