The APP Service Line Manager of Sands-Constellation Heart Institute (SCHI) will work with healthcare providers, nursing and operational leadership to assure the delivery of state-of-the-art clinical care. With that, he/she will operationalize the core RRH values by developing and sustaining an environment which supports excellence in the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) clinical practice and the care of the patients. Facilitating both clinical education and clinical investigation to advance the art and science of professional practices and promoting the professional development of APP workforce across RRH are also responsibilities for the SCHI Service Line APP Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Practice: Develops, disseminates, enforces and maintains standard APP best practices, projects, programs, policies and guidelines. Continuously reevaluates the effectiveness of the APP workforce staffing models. Makes changes as indicated. Participates on committees, task forces, interdisciplinary and interdepartmental forums that are concerned with patient care the APP practice. Supports and participates in educational and research programs of the RRH affiliates.Leadership: Demonstrates the core values of all leadership positions: open communication, mutual respect, and collaboration. In collaboration with healthcare provider, nursing and operational leadership, facilitates optimal scheduling and cross department workforce sharing and optimization. Demonstrates leadership and influences other in both the internal and external environments to promote optimal care to individual patients and optimal health care services to the public,Professional Development: Communicates and models RRH values for patient care, clinical education and clinical investigation. Oversight of orientation and on-boarding of newly hired APPs. Assures the on-going development of programs and provides support for all APP staff, novice to expert, to learn the skills required for their role and for their continued professional development. Assists staff to integrate their professional goals with those of the institution Finance: Collaborates with operational leadership to prepare, monitor, and maintain approved budget in relation to APP salary and wage budget, clinical supply and expense operating budget and clinical capital equipment budget. Is knowledgeable about issues in health care economics that directly or indirectly affect cost/quality assessment.

$100,000.00 - $165,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
