About the Role

Integration Engineers are responsible for creating best in class integration products on the Trimble App Xchange platform. The Integration Engineer will work with product managers and architects to convert business and technical requirements into quality integration products. Using established development conventions and design patterns, the Integration Engineer will deliver high quality, scalable, and maintainable integrations. 

What You Will Do

Develop and maintain integration products on the App Xchange platformUnderstanding business and technical documentation and specificationsContribute to integration planning, product, and architecture meetingsPerform functional testingParticipate in code reviewsManage production deploymentsPerform troubleshooting and resolve production issuesManaging workload through accurate updates to stories and good communicationCollaborating with a variety of stakeholders including:App Xchange: Product managers, architects, other Integration Engineers, and integration specialistsSupport and customer success teamsPlatform product and engineering teamsTrimble and non-Trimble product, engineering, and professional services teamsTrimble customersParticipate in App Xchange platform product demos and provide meaningful feedback to the App Xchange platform teamActive participant in App Xchange integration authoring best practices

What Skills & Experience You Should Have

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field plus a minimum of three years relevant experience in software quality assurance or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience creating integrations using middleware technologies, including IPAAS platforms such as Dell Boomi Writing software using JavaScript. Also writing software using C# is a plus. Experience with other languages will be considered.Understanding and applying design patterns, coding standards, and best practicesComprehend and create JSON and JSON schemaAbility to comprehend new APIs and how the author intends for them to be used based on the Swagger/Open API specifications and other application documentationUnderstanding of REST APIs and using tools to interact with/exercise APIsWorking within the software development life cycleWorking knowledge of MS SQLExperience related to the construction industry is a plusFluency in English
