​We’re looking for a product-obsessed, highly creative, and entrepreneurial outdoor & active designer to help us grow the outdoor and active brands here at Huckberry.  This designer will work closely with the design director to create a best-in-class product assortment that captures market trends and inspires our customer. We are looking for someone who is passionate about all aspects of the outdoor and active industry and has a keen eye for design and fabrics. You will be responsible for continuing to drive, innovate, and push our current and new brands forward.

This role is based out of our headquarters in Austin, TX; relocation support will be provided to a remote hire.

Responsibilities Drive the strategy and direction for our current active brands and any future potential brands in conjunction with Brand manager and merchandising Manage the product creation process from color & concept to sketch review, to TP creation of our current active brands Wellen and Proof Continue to push and innovate the product offering through best in class fabrics and trims Drive day to day needs with the development & production team to ensure design vision is executed while hitting key milestones and KPI’s Lead weekly fittings with tech design to ensure fit and quality standards are met Collaborate with PLM and merchandising team to create a best-in-class assortment that resonates with our customer with support from data and market trends Lead the company in market, product, fabric, and trend research Work closely with Director of Product Development & Production to ensure all major calendar milestones are met
