Duties and Responsibilities:
As an IT Analyst and Programmer for the Enterprise Applications Team you will be part of the group that will be supporting the Engineering Applications including Siemens Teamcenter, Siemens OpCenter, Polarian etc.
The bulk of this role will be configuring and maintaining the Opcenter MES Platform and creating new UI screens for use in Opcenter using another tool called Mendix. You will also work with business users and the IT architect/development lead to convert business requirements into technical specifications and implement changes to the application as needed. Also, gain experience in supporting the tool over time and take the necessary training to gain technical proficiency. You will therefore be creating workflows or program the solution components, configuration/development of solutions using SQL Server Database and programming skills (such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, bootstrap, HTML5) You will also be expected to scale as a developer for other applications being managed by the team. You will be expected to work with an established support and development team based in the Philippines and with key business/IT stakeholders in USA/Costa Rica.
Qualified applicants will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering/equivalent Minimum of 2 years of development experience, either post /during graduation with experience in C#,.NET and JavaScript. Self motivated- History of trying to gain technical expertise by learning on the job. You will be expected to identify and ask for help as needed. Can- do attitude and ability to influence peers as well as senior managers Basic understanding of REST API Services Experience with Database Concepts (SQL) and ability to understand database tables and relationships.
