Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Apple Systems Engineer to support the Information Technology Operations and Maintenance Support Office of a federal agency. Responsibilities Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Apple hardware and software, including servers, Macs, iPads, and MacBooks. Manage the deployment and configuration of Apple devices using tools such as Apple Configurator, Jamf Pro, or similar MDM solutions. Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure the security and stability of Apple systems. Monitor system performance and address any issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. Provide technical support and training to end-users for Apple devices and software applications. Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement strategies for improving system reliability and performance. Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Assist in the integration of Apple devices with existing infrastructure and services. Ensure data security and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects related to Apple technologies. Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of experience administering and maintaining Apple hardware and software, including but not limited to, Apple servers, Macs, iPads, and MacBooks Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) Certification Strong knowledge of macOS, iOS, and associated Apple hardware. Experience with Apple server administration and configuration. Proficiency in using MDM solutions such as Jamf Pro, Apple Configurator, or similar tools. Solid understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional, Apple Certified Technical Coordinator) are a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python. Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Parallels). Familiarity with enterprise-level backup and recovery solutions. Experience with integration of Apple devices into Windows or mixed-OS environments. Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
