This is a managerial role in AppleCare’s Supply Planning & Procurement organization requiring materials management expertise coupled with team building and development skills. DescriptionDescriptionAppleCare’s Service Supply Chain Operations (SSCO-Materials) organization is responsible for the planning and buying of all Spare Parts for Apple products. Our global team sources repairable parts and products to Apple’s exacting quality standards at the lowest possible cost. The team deploys service parts to locations around the globe to ensure customers get the best and fastest service experience possible. The SSCO-Materials organization’s focus on immediate part availability is a key reason why AppleCare continues to achieve best-in-class customer satisfaction metrics. As AppleCare Planning and Procurement Manager you will be accountable for the operational metrics of your product lines including order fill rates, inventory turns, backlog, repair turnaround time, excess inventory, and supply-chain cost reductions. You will utilize in-depth planning understanding to troubleshoot daily issues and drive resolutions. You will lead a team of planners and/or buyers, facilitate and deliver appropriate procurement & planning training, balance employee workloads, drive daily execution to attain customer service & inventory targets, help develop improved materials processes, help drive purchasing expedites with suppliers, validate purchase order requests, and lead operational improvement projects with project teams spanning a number of functional areas.Minimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications5+ years of experience in a Service, Manufacturing or Logistics Operation Experience in materials and supply/demand planning requiredExemplary communication skillsAbility to inspire a team to excellence in customer serviceStrong Excel skillsAnalytical with an exceptional attention to detail and People management experience.Key QualificationsKey QualificationsPreferred QualificationsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's DegreeEducation & ExperienceEducation & ExperienceAdditional RequirementsAdditional RequirementsMore
