The **Payment Systems Application Analyst** will work with Marketing, Payment Systems, and IT teams to support and develop payment systems, including creation of U.S. Marketing's cloud-based payment platform of the future, to securely process high-volume credit card and mobile payment transactions.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, high degree of motivation and dedication to individually contribute successfully with strong teamworking skills. In the role, the Application Analyst is accountable to its business customers for the business value and performance of IT services and to the IT function for advocacy of IT policies, strategies, and practices. The individual selected must demonstrate a customer-first mentality, agile mindset, and proven technical skillset to support and resolve business software challenges.
**Responsibilities May Include:**
+ Operate and support:
+ Support payment settlement systems, including integrations with third-party systems
+ Support critical business processes by participating in 24/7 on-call rotation
+ Understand business processes end-to-end, actively measuring business contribution of enabling systems
+ Drive change and innovation:
+ Participate in multi-phase payment system and process modernization program
+ Build and enhance integrations impacting the payments ecosystem
+ Build and maintain strong partnerships:
+ Build customer-centered partnerships leveraging robust interpersonal skills
+ Maintain communication with management and stakeholders regarding status of open issues, enhancements, and bug fixes
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Experience supporting/developing relational databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server)
+ Experience supporting multiple environments (e.g. development, test, parallel, production)
+ Experience with object oriented programming (e.g. Java, C#)
+ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
+ Willingness to participate in on-call support rotation
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
+ Certification(s) for Azure Developer, Cosmos DB, and/or C#
+ 3 or more years of experience developing C#
+ Experience supporting systems to meet business-critical service level agreements
+ Experience with Unix scripting
+ Experience in Network connectivity and file transmission troubleshooting skills
+ Experience supporting or developing with Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) applications
+ Experience supporting or developing high-volume systems
+ Experience providing 24/7/365 operational support
+ Experience in secure integrations with third-party payment processors
+ Experience working in PCI-compliant environment, including firewall and network configurations
+ Experience in cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
+ Experience in Power BI development
+ Knowledge of TFS source code management tool
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
