The IT Application Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and maintaining the information systems that are essential to the operations of the South County Health. This position is specifically responsible for supporting of the applications used by the Diagnostic Imaging and Radiation Oncology departments. These systems include but are not limited to the Radiology Information System (RIS), PACS application, Dictation system and Radiation Oncology EMR. Ensuring the optimal performance, security, and integration of these systems within the healthcare facility’s IT infrastructure is a key responsibility of this role. The IT Application Analyst will work in partnership with providers, leaders and staff to address routine and complex technical challenges and deliver optimizations that enhance overall functionality and improve efficiency. Beyond system support and maintenance of the applications noted above, this role will also manage and configuring HL7 interfaces, ensuring seamless data exchange between systems. The IT Application Analyst will be responsible for troubleshooting interface issues, working with vendors, and collaborating with clinical staff to maintain accurate and reliable data synchronization. Diagnosing, resolving, and preventing system disruptions is essential, as these systems directly impact patient care. Success in this role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strong collaboration with IT and clinical teams.
