P&C IT Services provides professional services to help our business units and corporate functions use technology to create, manage, and optimize information and business processes.  IT Services can include a wide range of activities such as: software development, data management, Cloud services, IT security, network security, technical support, establishing and overseeing access rights, procuring and maintaining equipment or software, managing the infrastructure, and defining security procedures,  The overall goal of IT Services is to provide technology solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and give our company a competitive advantage over our competitors.

The Data team within P&C IT Services is seeking an intern for the summer 2025.

Qualifications:

Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages like Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skillsOutstanding organizational skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamAbility to work on tight deadlines as neededCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and OutlookDevelopment Tools: Familiarity with tools such as Git for version control, Docker for containerization, and integrated development environments (IDEs) like Visual Studio Code or IntelliJ.Software Development Lifecycle: Understanding the stages of software development, from planning and design to testing and deployment.Debugging and Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and fix bugs efficiently.Web Technologies: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and frameworks like SpringBoot, React, Angular, or Vue can be beneficial.
