Application Architect Java & Web Technologies
CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect – Java & Web Technologies position for our client in Phoenix, AZ. Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: 10 months Duties: Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and secure enterprise applications using Java and web technologies. Architect and implement API-driven solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and maintainability. Develop and manage backend database solutions, ensuring data integrity and high availability. Lead the design and implementation of distributed systems and enterprise architecture. Leverage cloud technologies and microservices architecture to optimize application performance and scalability. Apply design patterns and architectural best practices to enhance system efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and problem-solving expertise throughout the software development lifecycle. Skills: Strong expertise in Java, APIs, and backend database development. Hands-on experience in API development, database design, and enterprise architecture. Proficiency in cloud technologies and microservices architecture. Deep understanding of design patterns and architecture principles. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design end-to-end solutions for enterprise projects. Expertise in enterprise Java frameworks, including Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group. Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, APIs, and backend database solutions. Proven experience in designing and implementing distributed systems and enterprise architecture. Extensive experience with cloud-based solutions and microservices architectures. Strong track record of solving complex architectural challenges and optimizing system performance. Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
