Application Consultant Job Description What is the job about? Join the “Supply Chain Logistics and Quality” department, a vital part of the Grundfos IT organization. Here, we develop, implement, and support all IT solutions related to logistics and warehouse processes across all Grundfos global sites. As an Application Consultant specializing in SAP WM/EWM, you will be part of a global team engaged in a variety of tasks, including support, medium-term business improvements, and major SAP implementations and development projects. Your main responsibilities: • Collaboration with stakeholders to understand and analyse business requirements and warehouse needs. • Design, configure and implement SAP EWM and WM solutions to optimize warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound processes, inventory tracking, staging to production processes and resource management. • Deliver advice and consultancy on application functionality and act as sparring partner towards all relevant stakeholders in the Grundfos business. • Offer ongoing support and maintenance for SAP EWM/WM solutions, addressing any issues or enhancements as needed. • Conduct system testing, validation and trouble shooting to ensure the solutions meet business requirements and perform optimally. • Master the integration to related application areas and third-party systems. • Identify areas for improvement in the business as well as facilitate and secure the overall design of the solution. • Write detailed specifications for programmers to facilitate the development of custom solutions. • Utilize debugging skills to identify and resolve issues within the SAP EWM/WM systems. Your background We imagine that you have: • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP EWM/WM configuration and implementation. • Proficiency in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, MM and EWM/EWM modules. Strong understanding of warehouse management processes and best practices. • Excellent problem-solving and analytic abilities. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Fluency in English • Master degree or equivalent work experience What’s in it for you?
