**CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant – Site Reliability opening for our client in Frisco, TX.** **Location:** Frisco, TX **Duration:** 10 months **Duties:** + Lead and mentor Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams, fostering collaboration through tools like Jira, Teams, and Confluence. + Design and implement scalable, reliable system architectures using Kubernetes, Docker, and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). + Develop and support infrastructure components including Kafka, Cassandra, and other middleware technologies. + Oversee incident management processes using platforms like PagerDuty and xMatters, ensuring efficient resolution and post-mortem analysis. + Establish and maintain monitoring and observability systems using tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and Grafana. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reliability, performance, and scalability of critical applications and services. + Support microservices and API-based architecture in a production environment. **Skills:** + Strong leadership and team management capabilities. + Proficient in cloud-native technologies and infrastructure automation. + Deep understanding of SRE principles and DevOps best practices. + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. **Experience:** + Minimum 10+ years of experience in a relevant technical field, including significant experience in system design, reliability engineering, and operations. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
