Job Summary

The Application Coordinator for the Epic Radiant Team plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the Epic Radiant module, ensuring it meets the needs of our radiology end users and aligns with organizational goals. This position requires an understanding of radiology workflows, system configuration, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize the use of Epic Radiant in enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.

The analyst will participate in projects, provide troubleshooting and support, and make configuration changes within the Radiant application. They will collaborate with clinical staff, IT teams, and other stakeholders to analyze requirements, implement solutions, and ensure system functionality supports radiology operations.
Summary<br>Act as part of a team of application and workflow experts to provide design & build supporting Epic and possibly other healthcare systems. Analyzes the organization's current business practices and translates them into configurations and workflows for successful product implementation.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>No<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Participates in discussions to inform decisions using application knowledge and analysis. <br>
-Documents business requirements and translates those requirements into functional specifications and/or system build/configuration for the software application. <br>
-Participates in peer review for quality assurance of team member build and assists with onboarding & mentoring of new team members. <br>
-Develops and executes test plans and performs other software quality assurance tasks. <br>
-Provides ongoing support of the software applications by identifying and resolving issues, and escalating as needed for timely resolution. <br>
-Runs reports, updates tables, and performs other tasks associated with the ongoing operation of the software environment. <br>
-Acts as team delegate/representative at department, project, or other meetings, as assigned. <br>
-Participates as needed with a review of the training curriculum and end-user documentation for the applications user community. <br>


 

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Licenses and Credentials

Experience

3-5 years of healthcare information technology experience and some experience in a Radiology setting.Epic Certification Required. Preferably Radiant, Cupid or Optime


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must be able to obtain required Epic certifications as outlined by program requirements.Experience in the development, support or operation of software applications, preferably in a healthcare setting.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.Demonstrated analytic and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other popular office productivity solutions.
