We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA), part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.

Application Designer Engineer, 3D Data Integration Team, FLRAA

Bring your experience and ideas and help us develop, implement and support database driven applications created by Bell's 3D Data Integration Team for the FLRAA aircraft.

Projects will range from highly automated back end to user interfacing front end applications.

The Application Designer will be responsible to support integration, verification and downstream re-use of multiple applications.

You’ll work with engineers to improve the application and optimize.You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities and gain experience in problem solving and communication.

What you’ll be doing as an Application Designer Engineer:

Develop and support engineering applications and infrastructure to support a digital enterprise framework that connects engineering source data with various downstream functional data and clients.Provide input and develop requirements regarding next-generation Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) related software and processes. Participate in testing and production roll-outs as required. Collaborate with IT, and various functional organizations on the integration of KBE-related software and data with other business systems.Pursue technical aspirations and personal growth to drive value adding progress in Bell’s knowledge-based engineering environment.

Skills You Bring To this Role:

Skilled at application development including experience with .NET, SQL Server, C#, C , C or Visual Basic. Applicants with other strong OOP and SQL experience may also be considered.Possess strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to accurately relay information to both technical and management forums. Candidate must be capable of working autonomously with strong organizational skills.

What you need to be successful:

At least 2 years of proven work experience in application development .NET, SQL Server, C#, C , C or Visual Basic is required. Experience at all levels will be consideredBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering is required, however other four-year technical degrees will be considered with sufficient applicable experience. Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.Able to gain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance
