The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure like virtualization platforms, containerization, public cloud, networking, security, hardware, and IT service management. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that streamline IT operations and improve efficiency. **What you'll be doing** **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop and maintain automation solutions for IT infrastructure operation of our customers. + Work with workflow engines and automation platforms such as **Ansible Tower, Terraform, VMware vRealize Orchestrator (vRO), or similar tools** . + Write and maintain automation scripts and applications using **JavaScript, Python, Ansible, Terraform, and potentially Go** . + Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to design and implement automation workflows. + Integrate process automation initiatives with IT service management. + Follow software development lifecycle best practices, including **Git-based version control, testing, and documentation** . + Ensure security, compliance, and performance optimization of automated workflows. + Stay up to date with emerging technologies in IT automation, DevOps, and cloud-native solutions. **Required Skills and Experience:** + Experience with **infrastructure automation** and workflow orchestration. + Hands-on experience with tools like **Ansible, Terraform, VMware vRO, or similar** . + Strong coding skills in **JavaScript, Python, Ansible, Terraform** (Go is a plus). + Understanding of **virtualization, containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, and security** . + Knowledge of **IT service management (ITSM) and process automation** . + Experience with **Git and software lifecycle management tools** . + Ability to work collaboratively in a development team following agile methodologies. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with **CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies** . + Familiarity with **monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, Grafana)** . + Knowledge of **APIs and integrations** for automation solutions. + IT certifications in **automation, cloud, or DevOps** (e.g., Terraform Associate, Red Hat Ansible, AWS/Azure certifications) are a plus. **Workplace type** **:** Hybrid Working **About NTT DATA** NTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
