Application Developer AWS Cloud FullStack
CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer AWS Cloud FullStack opening for our client in Plano, TX. Location: Plano, TX Duration: 11 months Duties: Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable cloud applications using AWS services, Apache Spark, Databricks, and other relevant technologies. Design and implement robust full-stack solutions that handle large-scale data processing, storage, and management. Optimize and manage data workflows using ETL/ELT pipelines to support analytics and data science initiatives. Collaborate with teams to analyze and interpret rail shipment transaction data to derive predictive and prescriptive insights. Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and data-related issues. Work closely with stakeholders to define technical requirements, propose effective solutions, and implement best practices in software development and data processing. Skills: Strong experience with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Redshift, etc.) Hands-on expertise with Apache Spark and Databricks for large-scale data processing. Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and experience with databases such as Oracle SQL, MongoDB, and MySQL. Strong understanding of full-stack development, including front-end (React, Angular, etc.) and back-end technologies. Proven ability to optimize data pipelines and improve performance and scalability. Experience with cloud-based data analytics and machine learning pipelines. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Experience: 10+ years of experience in full-stack development and modern data framework optimization. Proven experience in data engineering or application development, specifically in large-scale data management and analytics. Hands-on experience working with rail shipment transactions data analytics for predictive and prescriptive insights. Prior experience with ETL/ELT workflow design and implementation in cloud environments. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Additional Requirements: Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Preferred location: Dallas, TX. If not located in Dallas, candidate should be willing to travel up to 25% in the initial months (with no travel required thereafter).
