**CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer BBX opening for our client in Bethesda, MD.** **Location:** Remote **Duration:** 6 months **Duties:** + Design, develop, and maintain BBX-based applications within an open systems environment + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement solutions, and ensure software reliability + Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software meets specifications + Troubleshoot and resolve application issues + Document software designs and processes for ongoing maintenance and support + Work closely with other developers and technical teams in an Agile environment **Skills:** + Proficiency in BBX development + Strong programming skills in C/C++ within a Linux (RHEL) environment + Experience with open systems and enterprise application development + Knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP + Experience with web services including REST and SOAP + Familiarity with core Java programming + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills **Experience:** + 5+ years of experience in open systems development, preferably with BBX + Experience in developing and supporting enterprise-level software applications + Prior work with Property Management Systems (PMS) is a plus **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
