CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer IBM Cloud FullStack opening for our client in New York, NY. Location: New York, NY Duration: 11 months Duties: Develop and maintain full-stack applications using IBM Cloud technologies. Design and implement secure, high-performance REST APIs using Python and FastAPI. Create responsive and dynamic front-end applications with React and/or Svelte. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Utilize containerization tools like Docker and manage orchestration using Kubernetes. Integrate with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and efficiency. Participate in agile development workflows, utilizing tools like JIRA and Confluence. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack, ensuring reliability and performance. Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and/or Svelte. Strong knowledge of Python and FastAPI, focusing on developing secure, high-performance REST APIs. Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes. Understanding of agile workflows and tools like JIRA and Confluence. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Experience: Previous experience developing full-stack applications in a cloud environment. Demonstrated ability to work with secure REST APIs, front-end technologies, and relational databases. Experience with modern development tools and platforms, such as IBM Cloud. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
