Application Developer - Java, Figma, UX
CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Figma, UX, Java & Web Technologies position for our client in Phoenix, AZ. Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: 10 months Duties: Design, develop, and implement scalable and high-performance Java and web applications. Architect solutions that align with business requirements and technology roadmaps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, business analysts, and developers, to create seamless user experiences. Conduct usability testing, gather user feedback, and refine prototypes to improve application design. Utilize advanced Figma skills to create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs. Lead prototype creation, user interviews, and usability testing to enhance product development. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams on best practices for Java and web technologies. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability while adhering to Agile development methodologies. Skills: Minimum 2 years of advanced Figma experience – strong portfolio required with ability to showcase past work. Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular). Experience in usability testing, user research, and prototype creation. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and conduct user interviews. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in application architecture, Java development, and web technologies. At least 2 years of experience in advanced Figma skills and usability testing. Proven track record of designing and implementing user-centric applications. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
